I’ve been producing marketing communications in the USA and abroad for more than 13 years. I’ve worked for many of the world’s great ad agencies, a few Fortune 500 firms, and a couple of startups as well.
One thing they all have in common is the desire to produce compelling materials on tight budgets and deadlines. A good producer can do this without whining or demanding extra vacation time.
As a designer, I’ve always gotten my hands dirty learning all facets of technology. I have a strong desire to learn and have mixed inks, burned plates, and run both offset-and screen-printing presses. I’ve learned Unix administration and can handle most aspects of web hosting and development. I do so because it helps me understand the various media and can tap a library of techniques to maximize impact and stretch marketing dollars.
I’ve gained a reputation for taking on the most dysfunctional projects and turning them around. I do this through careful observation, a fair bit of technology, and a good attitude towards negotiation. Regardless of the pressure, clients and colleagues always find the same polite and cheerful demeanor.
So, if you’re looking for a down-to-earth strategist who speaks plain English, someone with hands-on knowledge that spans from tee shirts to shell scripts, can lead teams or present to clients, I’m your man. |
